Kansas City….Kansas City here I come.

May 7, 2007

Hey, if you are ever in Kansas City and need something to do or a good place to eat check out these two places:

Trolley’s Restaurant in Overland Park 9100 W. 135th St. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Many menu items to choose from and perfectly priced for the amount of food you receive. Do not just go to have a main dish…make sure you try and appetizer (like the Thai lettuce wraps) and one of their many desserts.

While in town, why not visit the National Monument to World War 1. Located near Union Station (and Science City) and Crown Center. This historic monument has been completely refurbished and renovated. With interactive computer tables, full screen videos, sound booths, and relics. The Liberty Memorial provides you the best opportunity to experience World War 1.

Interesting…..

May 7, 2007

While surfing the web I found the following interesting topics……just some things to think about!

1) Did you know that the average human spends 3 years of their life on the toilet?  I find this very interesting.  To think that 3 years of your life will be sitting on the porcelain god.  Though I would assume this does not include the amount of time leaning over the toilet from a night out.  My one question I have is….do you think that people who have had “shitty” lives, truly spend more time on the throne??

2) A yummy thought for you…..did you know the average American swallow a quart of snot a day.  You would think that if you swallowed that much snot a day….you would not be as hungry.  You might think that it could be a 4th meal.  Not actually a yummy meal, but it might fill your stomach so you don’t feel as hungry.

3) And finally…..did you know there are more chickens in the world than people.  The only question to this is…..which came first the chicken or the human?
